Age Related Expectations
What your children should learn from each subject
These booklets provide information for parents/carers on the end of year expectations for children in our school.
The National Curriculum outlines these expectations as being the minimum requirements your child should meet each year.
All the objectives will be focused on throughout the year as part of your child’s lessons. Any extra support you can provide in helping your child to achieve these expectations is greatly valued.
Every teacher will be assessing your child against these standards and parents will be informed if their child is not on track to reach the end of year expectations at the end of every term. We do this so parents can support and understand their child's progress.
The government has recently published a new leaflet which explains what primary progress scores mean to parents, please follow this link
